What is The Bridge?
The Bridge is a small group of young adults, ages 18-30, who meet every
week to grow and support each other during some of the most important
years of their lives. The Bridge was named by a few college students who
realized that so many young people in this age group are leaving the
universal church. This ministry group literally hopes to be a “bridge” that
keeps young people connected to God and His Church.
We want you to know you are not alone in your journey with God. The
Bridge is an inviting place to explore your faith and grow in
your relationship with Christ. We believe growth happens when
we are connected to God, the Bible, and other Christians. The Bridge
will give you the Christian friends and support that you need to help you be
more like Jesus.
When Do We Meet?
We meet every Sunday right after the morning worship service from
5:00-6:30pm at Life Pointe Church. We have snacks and an interactive Bible study
to discuss and apply the points of the morning message. It’s all about
“Doing the Bible, not just Studying It.”
The Bridge wants to give back to our community and world.
We want to make it a better place for everyone. Therefore, we plan
to have several community service projects and mission trips
every year. It’s all about meeting needs with our deeds.
We also plan to hang out as much as possible. Our group consists of college
students both here and away and full-time working adults. Our social events
give us time to get to know each other better and deepen our friendships.
