9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Youth Room
Sunday Morning Live (SML) is every week before the worship service & is the hour every student needs.
Various topics are explored each session using creative methods such as small group discussion, videos, Bible study, & more.
A light breakfast is provided, plus hangout time. Each session is led by a member(s) of the Youth Team.
Wednesday Night Live
5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Great Room, Youth Room, & Foyer
Wednesday Night Live (WNL) is every week & is the high-energy highlight of the youth ministry week.
A typical WNL includes…
- worship with our live band
- relevant messages
- basketball, soccer, volleyball
- team & individual games
- “get-to-know-you” mixers
- skits from our drama team
- misc. table & video games
- free dinner & snacks
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What are the age requirements for the Youth Ministry?
A: Anyone in grades 6–12 is able to participate in any youth event.
Q: How much does a typical youth event cost?
A: Many of our events are free of charge. Some events, such as Kings Island, concerts, etc., may cost around $50 per person.
Q: Why do many events include “hangout time”?
A: Allowing the youth opportunities to build friendships in a safe & accepting environment is part of what we believe in.
Q: Which is more important for my teenager to attend, WNL or SML?
A: It’s a tie – they are each very different, but equally important.
